A Little Explanation

A nice-looking young woman walks into the drugstore and asks the pharmacist for some arsenic.

He asks, “Ma’am, what do you want with arsenic?”

Soft-spoken, the young woman replies, “To kill my husband.”

Slightly shocked, the pharmacist says, “I can’t sell you arsenic to kill a person!”

The young woman removes a photo from her handbag and lays it down on the counter.

It shows a man and a woman in a compromising position.

The man is her husband and the woman is the pharmacist’s wife.

He takes the photo, looks at it closely and nods. “Ah yes, I didn’t realize you had a prescription!”
