The Racehorse

Charlie has a racehorse that has never won a race.

As he lines up for yet another run, Charly fed up, says threateningly,

“Horse, you win today or you pull a milk wagon tomorrow morning!”

The starting gate opens and all the horses take off running except for Charlie’s horse which is lying there dozing on the track.

He kicks the horse and shouts, “Why are you sleeping?”

The sleepy horse raises his head and says, “I have to get up at 3 o’clock in the morning.”
